    Considering we have all the parameters known for the first isotope we can calculate the perturbing Hamiltonian for the first isotope. Now, for the second isotope, since ‘a’ can be measured using our experimental setup we can calculate ‘C’ for the second isotope and then calculate the perturbing Hamiltonian of this second isotope. Taking the ratio of these two isotopes and then equating them to the ratio of (-µ_1.B_1)/(-µ_2.B_2) will give an expression for the unknown µ_2.
