    Truth be told, i found the question rather strange. So after pondering a bit about why i did not get it, i looked at some of the given answers. But i can honestly say that i’m still a bit confused, especially regarding the terminology used in the question. I understand that by causing some sort of practically infinite degeracy in the eta = 0 states would after switching on eta unpack into a sort of continuous energy spectrum (one might want to pick a whole spin nucleus to make the splitting more efficient) but that would require a nuclear spin of a practically infinite value. I guess i don’t really understand what the implications are of the word “evolve” in the question? Are we supposed to invent a quantum system like the one most answers seem to agree on or are we supposed to come up with a collection of quantum systems that would better fit the toy model and be slightly realistic?
