    Page 7 : in a low viscosity solution, all of this anisotropy is averaged out.

    I don’t understand immediatly without trying to make it very explicit, the relation between the viscosity of the solution and the ‘averaging out’. How do i relate the viscosity (that I only remember by the ability to slide parallel plates sandwiching a liquid, in certain directions) of a solution a macroscopic property to molecular orientations, a microscopic property. I could try to understand how the ‘rolling’ of the molecules might induce them to be randomly oriented but then I would expect that to increase with density (and still not sure how the viscosity comes into the picture).
