    Luckily, we can find the hyperfine constant a by the experimental hyperfine splitting measurement and the total spins I of both isotopes. Now we must determine the total angular momentum J. J can be determined via the energy level spacing. When Both J and I are known we can use this information to calculate the Hamiltonian of the system and thus also the magnetic moment since H = -µ.B
