Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) Author Posts March 8, 2025 at 9:30 am #6270 GielParticipant J = L+S, and so if L and S are parallel, they can be aligned to get J = 2 from l=s= +/- 1 or anti-aligned to get J = 0 from l = -s = +/- 1.
