The 1s electron is the electron who is closed to the nucleus itself. The place where the electron moves around is described by a 3D area which we call an orbital. This area or orbital is special, because the electron can intrude the nucleus. From mathematics (so the wavefunction from the slide), we can see that there is a high probability for the electron to be at the center of the nucleus.
